Stainless steel piping systems and process skids

We build and assemble stainless steel piping lines for process plants in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. We carry out manual welding using a range of procedures as well as automatic orbital welding, we build skids and filling and liquid packaging systems, and we work with our own equipment anywhere, starting from an on-site survey.

A process line is only as reliable as its joints. We follow stainless steel piping from prefabrication through to on-site installation, taking care of routing, supports, slopes and full drainability of the line.

The scope may cover a new plant, the extension of an existing line or the replacement of sections already in operation, always with the aim of keeping production downtime to a minimum.

We make the joints using manual welding procedures selected according to material, wall thickness and the intended use of the line, and using automatic orbital welding, which is particularly suited to the pharmaceutical industry.

Orbital welding produces a continuous, repeatable and uniform bead around the full circumference of the pipe, with controlled and recordable parameters. It is the reference solution wherever high hygienic standards, the absence of dead legs and full traceability of every joint are required.

We build skids: process units pre-assembled on a frame, tested before delivery and ready to be tied into the existing plant. Compared with building everything on site, a skid shortens installation time, moves the work into the workshop and makes maintenance and relocation far simpler.

In the food and chemical sectors we work in particular on filling and liquid packaging, covering the transfer, dosing and filling lines for liquid products.

Every job starts with an on-site survey: we measure the actual routing of the line and check interferences, anchor points and connections to existing equipment. On request we supply isometric and axonometric drawings of the piping, useful both for technical validation of the design and as as-built documentation of the plant.

We work with our own equipment and are available to operate in any area, in Italy and abroad. This operational independence means jobs can be scheduled without rental constraints, and that we can also work on sites with no specific facilities for stainless steel fabrication.
